The Process of Coaching |
| |
|
Areas I Assist
Clients
As a business coach, I focus on assisting
business owners to:
- Create a big picture vision of what they want they want
business to look like in 1, 3 or 5 years.
- Develop a One Page Business Plan that details the
strategies, objectives and actions that will move the
business toward the vision.
- Create progress reports and metrics to track progress.
- Stay accountable to their One Page Business Plan.
- Balance professional, personal and family time.
- Develop a plan for professional and personal growth
- Brainstorm their thoughts, ideas and actions. Then help
pull out the best of the best to work on
immediately.
The Coaching
Process
The
coaching relationship begins with the first complimentary
session. During that session we will have a chance to get to
know each other, discuss your vision and goals, and layout the
coaching relationship that meets your requirements. This
complementary, no strings attached, session is also your
chance to examine the difference coaching can make in your
business and life.
|
|
The coaching partnership is focused on you
and your business and has five distinct areas:
- Discovering your business and personal vision and goals.
- Strategize about and focus on the areas that will move
you towards your vision and goals.
- Decide on measureable objectives; how success will be
defined.
- Create action plans that will move you in the direction
of your vision and goals.
- Evaluate and measure progress against the action plans
and overall vision.

Coaching Agreement |
|
During our initial complementary session we
will decide on how to best structure the coaching relationship
and/or business planning services to best meet your needs and
requirements. For a typical coaching relationship, we
will meet two times per month either over the phone or in
person for an hour to an hour and a half each time. You will
also get free e-mail contact and short “check in calls” of
fifteen minutes or less between sessions as needed.
A
basic term for the coaching agreement is for three months.
Before our last session we will review the coaching
relationship and you can decide to renew the agreement, go
month-to-month or complete the relationship. Upon request a
sample agreement can be provided. |
